FLOWmarket™

a can full of holistic thinkingFLOWmarket™ is a supermarket selling consumer awareness. I was lucky enough to visit the FLOWmarket during my visit to Copenhagen in July. At first glance the supermarket-as-artwork (coined by BoingBoing in June) is just part of the exhibition of the Danish Design Centre. I was quite surprised to see that I could actually purchase the ‘products’ right off the shelf.

I was in great need of some holistic thinking, so I bought 5kg. After that, I got so excited that I turned into a regular shopaholic, showcasing some serious consumerism in an art center trying to challenge this 21st century disease. Besides the holistic thinking, I ended up with cans of meaningfulness and inner calmness, a bottle of clean tap water, a carton of clean air and jars filled with spam killers, ups and downs, how to feel oneself and peace.

I feel so much better. Highly recommended!

Seth Godin’s Life Lesson: Just Go

Marketing guru Seth Godin calls it ‘marketing advice’, but really, Seth, isn’t Make Something Happen just a major life lesson?

Make something happen today, before you go home, before the end of the week. Launch that idea, post that post, run that ad, call that customer. Go the edge, that edge you’ve been holding back from… and do it today. Without waiting for the committee or your boss or the market. Just go.
