FLOWmarket™

FLOWmarket™ is a supermarket selling consumer awareness. I was lucky enough to visit the FLOWmarket during my visit to Copenhagen in July. At first glance the supermarket-as-artwork (coined by BoingBoing in June) is just part of the exhibition of the Danish Design Centre. I was quite surprised to see that I could actually purchase the ‘products’ right off the shelf.
I was in great need of some holistic thinking, so I bought 5kg. After that, I got so excited that I turned into a regular shopaholic, showcasing some serious consumerism in an art center trying to challenge this 21st century disease. Besides the holistic thinking, I ended up with cans of meaningfulness and inner calmness, a bottle of clean tap water, a carton of clean air and jars filled with spam killers, ups and downs, how to feel oneself and peace.
I feel so much better. Highly recommended!
