Sinds een paar dagen helemaal verslaafd aan Casper Live Aircraft Tracking. Betrap mezelf erop met enige regelmaat naar de site te klikken om te zien wat er zoal rond vliegt boven mijn huis of kantoor. En als ik in de tuin zit en ik hoor een vliegtuig, ren ik naar binnen om te zien welk van type en welke maatschappij het betreffende vliegtuig is, waar het naartoe gaat en hoe hoog de kist zit.
Casper is een product van Frontier, naar eigen zeggen “een team van enthousiaste en creatieve toolmakers in de luchtvaartsector”. Zo te zien, beschouwt Frontier het als een showcase voor vliegvelden. Ik denk zelf DE tool voor de vliegtuigspotter anno 2009. Waarvan, u raadt het al, ik er nu ook een ben.
