Heerlijk deze video. Kan ‘m eindeloos kijken. De grote Wes Montgomery met Nederlandse begeleidingsband. De interactie tussen Montgomery en de pas 23-jarige Han Bennink is prachtig, evenals de luid uitgeschreeuwde drum solo en het beheerste spel van Pim Jacobs.

Ik ben weliswaar muzikant in een semi-professionele band, maar ik kan geen noot lezen. Desalniettemin brengt deze vid me in een aangename trance. Bovendien gebruik ik graag ieder excuus om een Miles Davis vid te posten.
