Cool video of very smart Swedish project. The vid was posted almost a year ago but it’s new to me. The initiative was started by Volkswagen.

Not happy with a customer? Just terminate!
Seth Godin is discussing the fact that mobile carrier Sprint is canceling subscriptions if you call customer service too often.
As it happens, Sprint is also canceling subscriptions with people who use the Sprint free roaming service too much, amongst them a bunch of US soldiers that got royally screwed by the carrier. All of the subscriptions are ended per July 30. Apparently, the deadline of Sprint’s ‘Final Solution’ project.

Great post by Seth Godin about the fear of changing the Status Quo. His case: ‘the Verizon guy who turned down the iPhone‘. He could have used the example of ‘the Decca guy who turned down The Beatles‘ (“We don’t like their sound, and ‘guitar music’ is on the way out”), but the message is clear. As Seth Godin says:
“The spreadsheets and the marketing team and the CFO and the lawyers have no trouble at all defending the status quo, because, it’s their status quo. They created it and they like it that way.”
