This is the new band photo of the Rare Groove Orchestra. From left to right: Rob Geboers (Hammond organ), Dick de Zwart (drums), Luca Giordano (MC, guitar) and me (Fender bass).
We will send this pic to venues, bookers and journalists. What do you think? Does it make you tick? What does it tell you?

Nervous anticipation and a last band hug minutes before the biggest Rare Groove Orchestra gig ever: Euro Jazz 2008 in Mexico City, March 30, 2008 with an audience of over 7.000 people.
Pics by brilliant photographer and friend Eric van Nieuwland, who joined us during the entire tour. More of his pics of the Rare Groove Orchestra can be found in the artist index on his website.

Felix and I in France during a small hike near our hotel. The night before our band had kicked ass on the Saint Paul Soul Jazz Festival 2008. Pic by Felix.
My band finally entered the MySpace madness. Horrible as it may be, it remains the leading tool for networking purposes (’meet the fans’, so to speak).

My band, the Rare Groove Orchestra, just launched a new website. Go check it out!
